Xeros

Starting as a university spin-out company, Xeros had a proven technology based on an industrial scale, but sought to expand their business into the domestic market.

By introducing beads into the washing process they could radically reduce the water required for commercial laundry whilst maintaining top-class results. We worked closely with them to understand, adapt and re-invent their technology to apply it to an entirely new scale.

Starting with a blank piece of paper we were involved throughout the entire process, all the way through concept development, testing and prototyping. Finally concluding by producing a matched pair of fully-working, visually representative washer and dryer machines. These cutting edge machines contained several unique patents developed during the design process in order to meet the demands of applying their revolutionary water saving technology on a domestic scale.
