Green Warehouse – UBin

Green warehouse have produced the UK’s first post-consumer recycled plastic bin, which is a big deal in terms of it’s environmental credentials.

The design of the general waste lid was however causing them a number of issues.

We worked with them and their toolmaker to completely redesign the lid, combining the existing 3 elements into one significantly simpler part. Not only simpler, but the new design used significantly less plastic, and eliminated numerous dirt-traps but at the same time matched the rest of the product family
