Fallen Furniture

Fallen Furniture are an ambitious young company who create stunning design pieces from salvaged aircraft parts.

Our first project with them was to engineer the inside of one of their statement pieces, the Bomb Bar. An exclusive drinks cabinet with 3-tier rotating shelves, glass-doored bottle cabinet and pull-out draws. In this instance they had a clear design intent but needed help to understand the manufacturing processes and technical details required to transform the idea into reality.

Working from their sketches and early renders we produced detailed design drawings and production ready CAD data for the components required. The complete new cabinet sits seamlessly between the original nose cone and tail section of the dummy bomb.

Since this initial project we have gone on to help them explore new ways of diversifying their portfolio into more scalably manufacturable items, in addition to other statement pieces such as the 737 cowling chair.
